COLD COLOURS Signs With SLEASZY RIDER RECORDS

January 21, 2010

Minnesota dark metal act COLD COLOURS has inked a deal with Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records. The band will enter the studio in the spring to begin recording its third full-length album for a late 2010 release.

Hailing from Minneapolis, COLD COLOURS was formed under the name of WOLFTHORN in 1995 with sole member Brian J. Huebner. After releasing a few demos, WOLFTHORN changed its name to COLD COLOURS in 1999 while recording the debut full-length CD, "Somnium XIII". A second album, entitled "The Burden of Hope", followed in 2005. Both CDs were released through the now-defunct Root Of All Evil Records.

While a show was played at the 1999 Milwaukee Metalfest, COLD COLOURS didn't become an actual working live band until 2001. The group has since performed all over the U.S. and has headlining all the major venues in the Minneapolis area.

After many personnel changes, COLD COLOURS solidified its lineup in 2009 with Brian J. Huebner on vocals and guitar, Ryan Felgen on guitar, Sam Van Moer (GRACEPOINT) on bass, Jamie Strobach (ex-SEVENTH CALLING) on drums and Dave Hart on guitar.
